Monthly and weekly themed cirriculum will be implemented
The basic foundations of early care development are communition, high level thinking skills, building relationships and engaing in motor skills.
Through our monthly and weekly cirriculum we will design a system that meets all your child's specific age needs.
We will explore independent exploration, structured schedule, activities and hands on learning.
Your child will be introduced to literacy, mathematics, science, language and social skills.
Our monthly themed units will build confidence and support self directed activites. Our hands on expereince will encourage problem solving and scientific thinking. Daily group activites, daily individual activities AND daily one on one learning will provide and give your child the best opportunity to grow.
We will observe and provide parents with monthly assessments to track your childs progession as well build a monthly portfolio to document development and keep work.
Every day your child will develop and improve on
-Cognitive skills through numbers, shapes, patterns, counting, measurment, art, movement and dramatic play.
-Language skills through communication, words, sounds and letters, books, spanish and sign language.
-Social skills through cooperation, positive relationships, and respect for everyone around them.
-Physical skills through fine motor skills, active play
-Everyday tools and motor skills needed for life and prepare for Elemantary such as
zipping, buttoning, cleaning, sharing, tying, potty training, and proper table etique.
We will create and hand out or post a monthly focus and a weekly focus. Above is an example week, which would be progressed with the second week (example week 2 would be Letter B, number 2, new set of shapes, new crafts and review of week 1. Week 3 would be letter C, number 3, new shapes, new crafts and review of weeks 1 and 2) All themes are additional to basic curriculum needs which are everyday songs about days of the week, alphabet, months of the year, counting, tracing and motor skill enhancement. Additionally, your child will recieve extra cirriculum focus learning with the one-on-one time we schedule each and everyday!
